Job Summary
The Strategic Lead Inflammation & Autoimmunity (IAI) - AD & Vitiligo is responsible for shaping and driving the future of Incytes IAI franchise in Germany. By leading the newly established Acceleration Team, this role ensures strategic focus, agility, and cross-functional alignment to accelerate performance, unlock growth opportunities, and strengthen organizational capabilities.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop the IAI Acceleration Team as a central driver of growth and transformation for the business unit
  • Define the national strategy for Incytes AD franchise
  • Identify, prioritize and fast-track initiatives with the highest strategic and commercial impact to deliver adoption and sustainable market share
  • Ensure organizational agility by breaking silos and enabling rapid execution across medical, commercial, and market access
  • Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and capability-building to ensure Incyte is fit for the future
  • Build strong external visibility for AD through congress participation, stakeholder engagement, and scientific exchange
  • Act as strategic advisor to senior leadership, ensuring German insights and initiatives feed into international strategies
Vitiligo Franchise Leadership
  • Define the national strategy for Incytes Vitiligo franchise, ensuring alignment with the international objectives
  • Drive commercial, medical, and market access activities to deliver adoption and sustainable market share
  • Partner with local and regional colleagues to prepare and execute long-term launch and lifecycle strategies
  • Build strong external visibility for Vitiligo through congress participation, stakeholder engagement, and scientific exchange
Cross-functional Execution & Business Performance
  • Develop annual strategic and operational plans for the Acceleration Team and Vitiligo franchise
  • Deliver accurate forecasts, KPIs and performance tracking with accountability for results
  • Partner with VAP colleagues to support reimbursement negotiations and stakeholder engagement at all decision-making levels
  • Collaborate closely with medical affairs to ensure scientific excellence and execution of the medical plan
People & Culture
  • Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing, cross-functional team with a strong culture of accountability and agility
  • Act as a role model, fostering collaboration, inclusion, and alignment with Incyte values
  • Contribute positively to the local leadership team and drive a culture of innovation and business integrity
External Engagement
  • Represent Incyte externally with credibility, ensuring strong and compliant relationships with all stakeholders
  • Secure Incytes presence at national and international congresses, scientific events, and educational activities
Requirements
  • Degree in Life Sciences or relevant equivalent qualification
  • At least 8-10 years of experience in specialty pharma, preferably in dermatology, immunology or autoimmune diseases
  • Minimum of 4 years experience in a BU Head (or equivalent senior leadership) position, with proven accountability for strategy and P&L
  • Proven track record in product launches, strategic execution, and leadership in cross-functional environments
  • Market access expertise is highly desirable
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, drive performance, and foster innovation
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with agility and resilience in dynamic environments
  • Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
