We are seeking a motivated PhD student to join our interdisciplinary research team working on MRI of inflammation and cancer using a multimodal approach. We combine contrast enhanced MRI with computer simulations of image contrast and mass spectrometric imaging of tissue samples and single cells. This project is part of the Collaborative Research Centre (CRC“Insight - Multiscale imaging of organ-specific inflammation” and aims to develop and apply a quantitative MRI approach, by establishing a data base of simulated and experimental MR data of tissue and single cells, to characterize immune cell dynamics in murine models of inflammation and cancer
