Overview
Head of Tax (w/m/x) at NTT DATA Europe & Latam. Lead the Corporate Tax function and report to the Head of Accounting, Reporting & Tax. The current Corporate Tax team handles a range of tax topics, supports our business areas on all tax questions, and coordinates with tax and audit authorities.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the employees in the tax responsibility area.
- Be the central point of contact for national and international tax law questions for the company and the Japanese parent company.
- Overall responsibility for the teams competence profile and service portfolio, including:
- Tax reporting to the parent company.
- Compliance with national and international tax laws and regulations.
- Management of tax audits in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
- Tax advisory involvement in corporate projects.
- Introduction, support, and development of a Tax Compliance Management System and related processes.
- Review of tax balances and tax returns, validation of current and latent tax determinations.
- Documentation of processes, work instructions, and memoranda.
- Conduct training sessions.
- Point of contact for auditors, audit and external advisors.
- Technical leadership of projects implementing tax requirements and co-responsibility in the implementation and evaluation of corporate projects from a tax perspective.
Requirements
- Degree in economics or law with a focus on tax law.
- Tax advisor exame.
- Several years of leadership experience and expertise in shaping and developing the tax department.
- At least 8 years of professional experience in tax departments of international companies and/or international-focused consulting firms.
- Analytical, networked thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Independent, structured, results-oriented work style with a hands-on mentality.
- Confident, persuasive demeanor with strong teamwork, communication and negotiation skills.
- Valuing and collaborative leadership style.
- Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
