The Group Tax Team handles all tax matters, including corporate tax, trade tax, VAT across 15 entities in 4 countries, and cross-border transfer pricing. This key role reports directly to the CFO.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing the group's tax position in Germany and Europe
• Building and leading the Tax team, managing tax projects, and ensuring accurate tax calculations and bookings
• Enhancing the current intercompany charging model
• Engaging with external tax stakeholders and ensuring compliance with local laws
• Driving tax projects independently and coordinating with external advisors
• Implementing state-of-the-art tax processes and tools to support growth

Requirements for success:

• Fully qualified tax professional with a passion for defining processes and building teams
• Experience in a scale-up, fintech, or similarly regulated company, and with European taxation
• Ability to manage relationships across jurisdictions and fluency in English and German
• Proficiency in IFRS, HGB, and adaptability to local laws
• Solution-oriented with a positive attitude and ability to handle workload

Nice to have:

• Experience in a PE-controlled environment
• Exposure to regulators and M&A experience
