How You Will Make An Impact

Sentinel is an AI-powered aerial defense system that detects, tracks, and intercepts hostile drones using autonomous airborne sensors and interceptors.

As Head of Sentinel Software , you will shape the software architecture and lead the team. You will contribute hands-on, helping develop scalable, elegant software for our drone systems.

Responsibilities:

• Define technical vision, team processes, and product priorities with the Director of Engineering
• Contribute technically when needed (e.g., code review, prototyping, architecture decisions)
• Coordinate between engineering, product management, and design teams
• Ensure software output meets the needs of drone products, from UI to embedded systems
• Drive quality, scalability, and maintainability through pragmatic leadership
• Lead the core Sentinel software team, participate in hiring, onboarding, and mentoring

Qualifications:

• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary software teams, preferably in startups or early-stage environments
• Background in software engineering (full-stack, systems programming, robotics, etc.)
• Strong understanding of balancing product, design, and engineering needs
• Passion for building code, culture, structure, and scalable systems
• Excellent English communication skills; German is a plus
• Builders mindset from concept to deployment
