As Head of Finance (all genders), youll play a key role in shaping Wemolos financial future. Youll be part of an experienced leadership team, driving sound financial decisions that enable scalable operations. This is a high-impact role with direct visibility to the founders, offering a unique opportunity to build and elevate the finance function in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of the Finance team, ensuring efficient workflows and alignment with company objectives.
  • Take ownership of financial planning activities, including budgeting and forecasting cycles, to support informed decision-making.
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and comprehensive financial reporting for internal stakeholders, investors, and banking partners.
  • Serve as a strategic business partner to management and cross-functional departments by evaluating the financial impact of market opportunities and strategic initiatives, such as profitability analysis and payback period assessments.
  • Collaborate closely with the Accounting team to evaluate and enhance financial processes and structures, driving scalability through the assessment and implementation of new tools and systems.
  • Maintain strong relationships with banking partners, acting as the primary point of contact and ensuring effective financial communication and coordination.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience (e.g. in consulting, FP&A organization of SMEs)
  • Proven people leadership with a track record developing teams, and setting ambitious goals
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset
  • Excellent executive communication across all levels of the organization
  • Proven project management experience, leading complex initiatives with measurable impact
  • Native-level German (C2) and fluent English (C1)
