Deputy Director Digital Innovation & Processes (mensch) Dsseldorf, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany

Responsibilities

  • Work with one of the largest, innovation-driven advertising clients in Germany. Your ideas are welcome.
  • Collaborate closely with the client and media partners to drive new, ambitious areas and deliver meaningful innovations in the digital and media space.
  • Act as the primary contact, sparring partner and driver for innovations in the digital field and, if desired, in the media domain.
  • Ideation is key analyze, optimize and create the processes needed to bring ideas to life and effect.
  • Lead change management and trust-based collaboration as part of your scope.
  • Communicate with the client and partners to advance the work into new areas and deliver practical innovations.
  • Stay up to date with market developments and assess them for fit with the clients goals.
  • Convey our jointly developed (with the client agreed) innovation pipeline in conversations, concepts and presentations.
  • Reports directly to the Managing Partner Paid Media. The role is explicitly without direct reports, given interaction with a wide range of individuals.

Qualifications

  • Completed studies in Marketing/Communication or a comparable education.
  • Minimum of five years experience in national or international media planning and/or account management, with cross-media know-how.
  • Extensive knowledge of existing and new partnership and innovation opportunities across a variety of media channels, platforms and markets.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement partnership and innovation strategies for clients in multiple markets.
  • Analytical thinking, strong communication skills, and convincing presentations.
  • A people-oriented mindset; the ability to engage with diverse colleagues and stakeholders; a collaborative, non-hierarchical approach.
  • Willingness to contribute additional ideas and capabilities as they arise.
