Your Role

I am partnering with them to find an experienced Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to lead their Cybersecurity team at the Bocholt location.

What Youll Do

• Lead the Cybersecurity team and oversee Regional Cybersecurity Officers.
• Implement and manage a cybersecurity framework based on ISO/IEC 27001 and contribute to the further development of organizational structures, policies, processes, and services.
• Establish a Security Operations Center (SOC) and take responsibility for the management and operation of associated services and vendors, including Vulnerability Management, SIEM, CERT, Endpoint Protection, and Network Security.
• Monitor the performance of the cybersecurity management system and report results to senior management.
• Ensure the organization meets all regulatory and compliance requirements for critical infrastructure security.

What You Bring

• A university degree in (Business) Informatics, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Significant professional experience in cybersecurity, preferably in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of frameworks and standards such as ISO/IEC 27001, NIST, ITIL, and COBIT.
• Expertise in cybersecurity capabilities, including Vulnerability Management, SIEM, CERT, Endpoint Protection, and associated technologies.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISM or CISSP) and experience leading teams are highly desirable.
• Excellent communication skills in an international environment, with an analytical, structured, and results-oriented approach.
• Fluent in English and business-level German.
